Today, our company dresses two flagship models from the 023 collection, the Tesla sofa and the Marlene armchair, with a 100% recycled and recyclable fabric. Made in Italy using only recycled PET, this fabric comes from a controlled and certified supply chain. We aim to bring to life a new design philosophy.
The Manufacturing Process
To create the fabric, plastic bottles collected just in Piemonte and Lombardia are used. They are transformed into polymers and then into polyester yarn. The process of manufacturing recycled polyester requires fewer stages than virgin polyester, resulting in significant energy savings and reduced carbon emissions. The fabric has international certifications such as GRS, TC, LCA, and OEKOTEX, and it is also accompanied by a QR code that documents the entire supply chain and its absolut originality.
